These blog hops are great for our community and encourage everybody to reach out to other jewelry makers and share our enthusiasm for this art.
I was paired up with Leah Tees, a jewelry artist from northern Ontario, who does incredible work with seed beads including soutache ! I am in awe of her talent and style. It was a challenge to make something for her since our styles are completely different. I hope she likes the earrings I sent!
I love, love, love the earrings she made for me.
"Stella" by Leah Tees |
Aren't they stunning? My photographs don't do them justice. They remind me of delicate squares of beautiful black lace with gorgeous pale purple crystals dangling from them. They suit me to a "T".
Thanks Leah.... I will cherish them forever.

Thank you for looking and for your comments if you feel so moved!!!
They are so elegant and original, I still have to try rizo beads and this is a great idea to use them!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are very elegant indeed!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Yes, definitely get a black dress. Though I would probably wear them with everything. Thanks for participating!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI would so wear those! I have way too many black clothes (though, can you ever have too much black?) and those would be perfect. I have always admired people who can take small beads like that and build what is, in essence, a bead sculpture. So very cool.
ReplyDeleteWow! Gorgeous earrings!!!
ReplyDeleteThe earrings you made Leah are whimsical and elegant.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun earrings you received! Leah is very talented!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is so intricate!
ReplyDeleteWow, those earrings are incredible! You're right - they're just begging for a little black dress!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Yep - a little black dress!

ReplyDeleteI missed all the drama. I love the earrings. Check out my blog if you have time. Thanks, Andrea

ReplyDeleteNancy, I love both of the earrings you created, everyone KNOWS how I feel about purple! hahaa...but I especially love the ones with the glass flowers, they remind me of dancing faeries and are so sweet! Leah is a lucky girl, and so were you, Leah's designs are gorgeous!
